Here are a few simple reasons why this might be the case.
-
Check you've got the correct URL?
-
Check you're using the correct username/email and/or password? If you've forgotten your password, simply click on the 'forgotten password' button.
-
Could your account (or the account of the user trying to access Eli) have expired, been deactivated or been deleted? Check on the back-end, or with your admin if you’re unsure.
-
Is your web browser up to date? Eli is packed full of technology that requires a modern web browser to work properly. On the back-end, Eli requires IE9 and above (or another modern web browser such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox). The front-end of the site only requires IE8 or above, except for messaging and events, which require IE9 or above (or, again, another modern web browser such as Chrome, Safari or Firefox).
-
Is your system configured to only allow access from a specific IP address? If so, is the IP address you’re logging in from on the safe list? Check with admin if you’re unsure. If you're logging in from home, are you connected to your work VPN?
-
Do you have permission to access the area of Eli you are trying to see? Check with admin if you’re unsure.
-
Has the Eli tech team recently fixed a bug on your system? If so, you may need to restart your web browser and clear your caché, if you haven’t already done so.
If none of the above has helped, please get in touch.
